Overview
Our client is a major water and waste water company who serve millions of customers and own some of the largest and most advanced water networks and plants in Europe. They seek a Contracts Coordinator to join their dynamic Commercial team supporting the Contracts Manager across a series of tasks associated with the management and administration of outsourced contracts.
Specific tasks
·Manage and co-ordinate end to end consultancy approvals process steps
·Maintain register of all requests received
·Prepare weekly/monthly packs for request approvals by commercial and executive
·Maintain records and data summaries required for monthly executive updates
·Manage commercial procedures following request approval including, conducting mini-tenders, obtaining and negotiating supplier quotations, drafting and issuing compliant work packages under framework agreements
·Prepare weekly and monthly reports to communicate process status and business impacts
·Prepare and issue internal (stakeholder) and external (supplier) communications
·Obtain and act on feedback received to develop process and work systems followed
Skills / Competencies / Experience Required
·Ideally you will come from a commercial, contracts or legal background
·Have some appreciation of the negotiation of commercial business arrangements
·Confident communicator – able to build and relationships internally and externally, influence and challenge.
·Have a keen eye for detail and process.
·Financial analysis skills
